Day 155: Meat overload.
Well my plans for today got changed as soon as my family told me we were all going to Texas de Brazil, the most amazing churrascaria i’ve ever been to! (not that i’ve ever been to one anyways hahaha) But seriously, it was freaking great, the food and the service was to die for and since we were being invited by my brother, uff, it was glory! We stayed there until 6:30 and right after that they took me to Dennys since Josh invited me to eat with their family but since i was so full i just madehim company. It was really nice to spend time with him and i’m glad i did.
I stayed with Ma basically all day today, i went shopping with her and got her the contact lenses she desperately needed. I algo bought shoes! :D i stayed home most of the night thought talking with Josh and Nicole and just hanging until 3am.
My second presentation was today and it was far better than the first one thats for sure. Class was done early today again and when Ma came to pick me up she was with my uncle who later told us we had to do some errands. I was hungry as hell so i invited them to eat at Ponderosa since i had some spare money to spend. We left my uncle at his job so Ma and I went home directly to take a long deserved nap.
I had my first oral presentation today and i was nervous as fuck so i kinda went flash with it…i still got a good grade though! Class was over by 12 so i went to the station to Ma to pick me up and so we went to Plaza Carolina to wax my eyebrows and do some errands. I also wen to take my drug test for my job and buy my uniform polos. I love my eyebrows now :D (they even gave me a free gift!!) Anyways later i went home to cook some pasta and then went to the doc to check up on my lab results and prescribed me some more meds. I went home to watch the soaps and study for my next presentation tomorrow…(Btw, those are my new work shooeees)
Holy hell what a long day it was. First i had college 10-12 but i had to wait until 2 for Josh to pick me up for us to start our day together. He was such a sweetheart man, i mean, he IS kinda useless to go shopping for clothes with but aside from that, hes a good sport. We walked a lot of malls and stores together, also in between we went to hand out some job applcations so lets see if he gets a job! It’ll be great to be on the same page with him, absolutely. I can’t go into much detail of everything we did today but it was sure fun as hell and i think i will never find somebody who i can sing bullet proof in the car with the speakers full volume and dancing the dance, just saying.
First day of college AGAIN! This time is just for one class which is Spanish Oral Communication and let me tell ya, i’ve never been in a class so full of Americans before. Usually they all are Spanish speakers and stuff and its more ironic, being a Spanish class and all. I already see the professor likes to let us out early so thas great. Later i went on to do a bunch of stuff with Ma and my uncle for my job and all of that. Later at night i went to go shopping for my uniform pants and they’re fucking skinny pants! I’m so happy! I couldnt find the polos but i’ll check on that tomorrow. I went to sleep pretty darn late because of Josh but i dont mind, cant wait to see him tomorrow.
I was supposed to go to eat with my Dad today but he’s always making up excuses to not go and this time i had to go get my monthly allowance so I had yo convince Ma to drive me there…Phew that was a mouthful. Anyways, i went to the grocery store to buy some things and went home shortly after that. I wanted to do some online shopping but Josh came in to pick up his laptop so I couldn’t. Either way i’m happy cuz i’ll be able to hang out with him tomorrow before and after my summer class. I’m hoping for a beach trip :).
I woke up pretty early today (although I stayed up late, which is weird.) I caught up with some things I left undone while I didn’t have a laptop. I did some Amazon shopping for cook books (WOO!) and later went to Pam’s house to help her do a project for a class. i stayed there all day until 10 and the project turned out aweesome. We went to Aly’s house and for a break we went to Baskin Robins. I finally talked with Josh at night until very late and it felt refreshing… 
I hate waking up so early and on a WEEKEND! But i had to because i needed to go to the lab to take some samples and later Ma & I had to travel all the way to Manati to see our stylist (cousin) for a new look. ;) It came out GREAT!!! After we were done there we went to eat something, return thr movies i rented yesterday and go home. In a few I went to church and later hung out for a little bit with my friends. They’ll all are happy that I have a job…some more than others…Either way since i hung up with Josh very early I called Andres and we talked until I passed out for good. (up there is a Mustang and a Camaro together….UFF.)
What a day! It all started with waking up at 9 so i could get to my job interview at 10 at Walgreens. Because Ma has connections and stuff (she worked in Walgreens for 36 years) i got the interview pretty fast. The boss told me to do some tests and bring some docs so i guess that means i’m in! I got my first job EVER! This is a huge deal for me just for the fact that in just less than a year i’ve been able to finish my first year of college with 30+ credits (also, i’m taking 6 credits this summer), i got my drivers licence annnd i got my first job! Not many people can say that at my age and also coming from a background as mine, where i grew up being given almost everything i wanted but thank God i never grew up greedy/selfish…i’m just reeeally ambitious :). Also, today my scholarship came in the mail so it was time to do some grocery shopping that we hadnt done in a while and yes, i also bought make-up for Ma & me ^^. Since we’ve been short on money i’ve always had to control myself on shopping on things like clothes and make-up but now i can and SO much more than i imagined! Later at night, while watching Black Swan that i got from Red Box, i got the aweeeesome visit from Andres & Pamela and they brought me ice cream from Maggie Moos!!! We stayed or a while talking until they had to go but i swear…i CANNOT complain. Those are the best friends I could ever ask for. (of course there are others who i’m always mentioning in my entries who i love dearly) sometimes i may be on the brink of crying my eyes out because life feels terrible but when life brings me upwards in such a way i could never dream of, Indeed, i am one lucky bitch.
I thought my check would come in today but it didnt :( Ma and I were hungry as fuck so from the little we had left in the account, we went to walgreens to buy some bread and soda. Sometimes i hate being so addicted to electronics and i hate the fact that it was the main reason for fighting with Josh today. Hopefully it wont happen again. I also believe what we talked yesterday is slowly starting to make sense so thats great. Tomorrow is also my job interview as I’m anxious as fuck! 
Woke up very late (like at 1pm) and that’s baaad since I’m starting college next week and I have to wake up early. I’m feeling my internal clock slowly but surely, fucking up again. Josh came to pick up his laptop and although I feel we’ve been fighting a little again, it always ends up in good fun. (Well, most of the time) 
Woke up sick AGAIN! Josh visited me for an hour or two and left me his laptop. Then I went to the mall with Ma and my sis-in-law and went straight to the stores I wanna shop for new clothes and honestly, I’ve been been the girly type of girl who’s always shopping and shit but after not having bought anything since my birthday, I dare to say I can’t wait for my shopping spree with Nicole. It’s gonna be so damn fuuuuuun. I’ve been having a lot of allergies as well which suck but can’t do much about them except take some medicine.
I went to college to sort out a weird balance I had in my account and it turns out I have another scholarship that refunded me $750 dollars for my whole first year. I couldn’t drive after that since I was so damn excited! HOLY SHIT! Anyways, Today I ate a ton of fast food again and I feel so crappy man, I wanna stop this madness at once but sadly I can’t always decide on what to eat in this household since we’re always short on money. I stayed talking to Nicole all night also which was so damn fun. I can’t believe I can have a sister like her, she’s so cute!
Yeah, it was boring. I had no money to go out and Ma wasn’t in the mood either to go anywhere so we stayed practically the whole day watching TV. It was the most suckiest day of the whole year. I got talking wit ha few people I hadn’t talk to in a while and that was good. It was the end of a program on TV and that was probably the most exiting thing that happened.
